Just before the great depression in 1928 and on the heels of the stock market crash, President Herbert Hoover proclaimed ‘Every American deserves a ‘Chicken in every pot and a car in every garage.’ During our current economic crisis, we need elected officials that are committed to Putting America Back to Work, fighting crime in our communities and creating access to new opportunities. To underscore our commitment to economic justice, we will be distributing frozen chickens on a first come first serve basis to attendees of this jobs rally.
