Spice Things Up for Mardi Gras!
Mardi Gras Spice Mask

Mardi Gras is one of our favorite holidays at The Spice House - Cajun and Creole food is some of the spiciest and best-seasoned in America.  We've always been proud of our Cajun seasonings (in regular, salt-free, and Extra Hot), but don't miss out on other classics likeKing Creole and Gumbo File Powder.

We've also got some great recipes for your Mardi Gras
gumbo-yellowfestivities, from simple Red Beans and Rice to classic Gumbo and complex Cajun Seafood Soup.  And get into the voodoo spirit for dessert with Black Magic Chocolate Cake!

Saint Patick's Day is Coming Up!
Be sure to get your corned beef spices in time for the traditional 3-day marinade!
Corned Beef Sandwich
And round out your meal with other Irish dishes, like Soda Bread and Potato Collops.

March 8 is also Pancake Day

Residents of Britain and Commonwealth countries celebrate Pancake Day instead of Mardi Gras.  In addition to eatingpancakes, Pancake Races are held.  The most famous race pits the women of Olney England against the women of Liberal, Kansas for fastest run while flipping a pancake in a frying pan.
Try seasoning your pancakes this year with one of our premium sugars, like rich Maple Sugar or our popular and addictive Chicago Old Town Seasoned Sugar
